What industries does Career Climbers cover?
Head over to the "Industries we cover" section of our website on the home page. We are rapidly expanding and growing our service offering, so if the industry you're looking for isn't currently available, keep an eye out - chances are, its coming soon!

Can I use Career Climbers if I havn't decided what career I want to follow?
Yes, of course you can. We suggest you select the multi - call option as this will enable you to speak to 3 of our Mentors from different roles. Having an initial chat with them will help you better understand the day-to-day activities of each role and the nuances between them. After this, you will undoubtedly be in a better position to make the right decision.

Can I use Career Climbers if I have already applied for an internship / job
Yes. For candidates that have already applied to a role, speaking to Mentors will help you build on your existing understanding and fill in any gaps in your knowledge. Typically candidates at this stage have specific questions they would like help with (e.g. what makes company A stand out over company B). We believe the more information you have the better you will interview!

Can Career Climbers / a mentor get me an internship / job at a particular company?
Unfortunately not. We can not directly get you an internship / job at any firm. We can however help you gain a firmer understanding of both the role and industry at hand. Having a firmer understanding would undoubtedly stand you in a better position in your application process.

If I run short of time, can i extend the call with my mentor if required?
Yes. Email us after your first call letting us know you'd like to book a follow up call with the same mentor. If you include your preferred time & date included in the mail - and we'll take care of the rest!

Can I speak to a mentor from a particular firm in a particular industry?
Yes, of course you can (subject to availability). If they arent available, don’t worry, another one of our trusty mentors can undoubtedly help in getting you the answers you need.

My metor was unprofessional and not very helpful. Can I do anything?
We value your experience with us above all. Submit your comments in the post call evaluation form and we will look into it. Subject to investigation, we would gladly arrange another call with another one of our leading Mentors.

How quickly am I able to have a call after clicking the 'Arrange a call' button?
Soon! We know how important it is for you to get ahead in your career. As such, we aim to have all calls arranged within 1-3 days of the initial request, subject to mentor availability.

Seeing the profound impact Career Climbers had on my life as a candidate previously, am I able to become a mentor and help others through their journey?

I am already working but would like to pivot in my career, can I still use Career Climbers?
Yes. Our more experienced mentors can certainly help you with any insight needed for a career pivot. Arrange a call today for more help.

I need help with my job application. Can Career Climbers help?
We cannot complete job applications for you. However, we can help you gain a firmer understanding of both the role and industry at hand. Having a firmer understanding would undoubtedly stand you in a better position in your application process.
12.
Something has come up. I can no longer make my call, is it possible to rearrange?
Yes, we understand life happens. If you notify us more than 24 hours before the schedulled time of the call, we'll be happy to re-arrange to a more suitable time. If you need to re-arrange your call within 24 hours of the call itself, we'll apply a charge of 50% of the cost of the call which would be paid to the mentor.
13.
Can I ask my mentor for his / her contact / LinkedIn and connect outside of Career Climbers?
We strongly advise you to keep all communications with mentors via the Career Climbers page. By acting as an intermediary we are able to protect candidates from issues (e.g. no shows, payment complications, unsatisfactory calls). If you wish to arrange a follow up call with the same mentor, contact us through the 'Arrange a Call' page or via support@careerclimbers.co.uk
